Caines Head Kayak & Hike Full-Day Adventure

The Caines Head Kayak & Hike is our most physically adventurous day trip. This private, full-day experience is designed for very active travelers seeking a challenging way to explore Alaska’s rugged coastline.

The trip includes approximately 10 miles of round-trip sea kayaking combined with (up to) a 5-mile trail hike through remote coastal terrain. Guests should expect a long day that requires endurance, comfort in variable conditions, and a strong sense of adventure. A picnic lunch is included, along with guidance from highly experienced staff who manage logistics and safety throughout the day.

Due to the challenging nature of this tour, all Caines Head trips are offered as private departures to ensure appropriate pacing, flexibility, and attention to guest needs.
