Resurrection Bay Tour: Half-Day Kayaking, Two Trips Daily

Sunny Cove Kayaking’s Resurrection Bay Tour offers an easy, scenic introduction to sea kayaking in Seward, Alaska. After meeting at our downtown harbor office, guests enjoy a short narrated drive through Seward while learning about local history and life in this coastal community.

At the launch site, our experienced guides provide a thorough paddling orientation and safety briefing before escorting guests along the calm shoreline of Resurrection Bay and nearby state recreation areas. The pace is relaxed, with plenty of opportunities to take in the views, spot wildlife, and build confidence on the water.

This half-day experience is designed to be approachable, educational, and enjoyable for a wide range of travelers, including first-time kayakers and families.
