Welcoming Our Returning (and New) Guides

We are thrilled to announce the return several of our dedicated and passionate guides for the upcoming summer. While it’s still winter in Seward, we eagerly anticipate the return of Liz, Zeke, Jen, Emma, Alex, Margot and Taylor. Andrew will also be joining us, in his new role as a full-time deckhand on Ascension. We’re also looking forward to welcoming our newest staff members, and to teach them to share our love and enthusiasm for Alaska.

Our returning guides bring a wealth of knowledge, expertise, and genuine love for the great outdoors. Their enthusiasm for sharing their extensive understanding of the local ecosystem, wildlife, and history of the area is infectious, making every trip with them a memorable experience.

Our guides have hone their skills in navigating the pristine waters and trails, ensuring the safety and enjoyment of our guests. Whether it's leading a kayaking excursion, guiding a hiking expedition, or providing insights during a wildlife and glacier cruise, our team's commitment to excellence is unwavering.

Not only are our guides seasoned professionals, but they also embody our values of environmental stewardship and sustainability. Their dedication to preserving the natural environment while fostering a deep appreciation for its wonders aligns perfectly with our mission at Sunny Cove Kayaking.

Join us in extending a warm welcome back to our returning guides as we eagerly anticipate the arrival of summer 2024. The adventures that lie ahead are sure to be filled with exploration, awe-inspiring encounters with wildlife, and breathtaking views.
