Our fully guided tour begins just two miles south of Seward at our Lowell Point launch where we meet and check in 15 minutes before trip time. We'll then spend the next half hour getting you outfitted with paddling gear and running through basic kayaking instruction on the beach. After our instruction we'll have about 5.5 hours (3-5 miles) of kayaking and shoreline exploration in Resurrection Bay.
9am - 3pm daily may 11 to september 3, 2018
After outfitting and sea kayak instruction we'll paddle the shoreline of Lowell Point State Recreation Site surrounded by mountains and glacial vistas. As we glide through the waters we'll look for the graceful movements of the harbor porpoise or the industrious sea otters diving for their lunch. We'll explore Tonsina Point with its ghost forest, late-season salmon stream and beautiful mountain views from its beach. Enjoy a beach-side picnic lunch and possibly a visit to a waterfall. This excursion includes lunch, beverages and snacks. Children 8 and up are welcome to kayak with an adult in our two-person kayaks.
