This is the SPOT! Even 'Deagle the Eagle' perched in the tree above our launch site agrees that we have the prettiest beach on Lowell Point, just two miles south of Seward. This is where you will meet your guide 15 minutes prior to your Resurrection Bay tour. We have free parking (sorry, no RV parking), a comfortable bathroom and a beautiful beach to launch you on your way.
Directions: Resurrection Bay paddles begin at our Lowell Point location on Beach Road. To get to Lowell Point, travel south on the Seward Highway, this becomes 3rd Avenue once you reach town. When you reach the end of 3rd Avenue, you will be facing the Alaska Sea Life Center. Turn right onto Railway Avenue, which then turns into a dirt road . Continue south along this road until you reach the last road on the right – Beach Road – and take a right. Look for our Sunny Cove facility on the left side of the road. Sunny Cove does not provide transportation to this location – it is approximately 2 miles south of town and can be reached via car or local taxicab.
