Seward Spotlight – Exit Glacier

The only part of Kenai Fjords National Park that is accessible by road is Exit Glacier. Exit Glacier is connected to the Harding Icefield and received its name because it served as the exit route of the first recorded crossing of the Harding Icefield in 1968. Super easy hike to see the glacier itself and there is a more challenging hike that will take you up to see the Harding Icefield. If you have never seen a glacier before, this is a must do item on your Seward checklist right after you have kayaked with us of course!
