Seward Spotlight – Alaska SeaLife Center

One of my favorite places to visit in Seward is the Alaska SeaLife Center. Established with funds generated in the wake of the Exxon Valdez oil spill, the SeaLife Center was created to generate and share scientific knowledge to promote understanding and stewardship of Alsaka’s ecosystems.

Visitors will find puffins, octopus, sea lions, harbor seals, and other sea life and learn the importance and benefits of the Alaska ecosystem. If you have a few hours to kill while in town, I definitely recommend stopping by the SeaLife Center!
