Christian Webb is today’s staff profile and he is yet another one of our Connecticut crew on staff. Christian just finished up his Master's Degree in Education up in Maine and decided to join us for a summer of fun following his graduation. His cousin Emma joined us on staff last year and their close relationship was a helping factor in his decision to join us this year and we are super glad he did!
Christian enjoys guiding because he likes to share his love for the outdoors with others and hopefully inspire them to spend more time outside. When he is not kayaking, Christian has picked up the hobbies surfing, scuba diving, fishing, and backpacking. He has traveled to many parts of the Americas to partake in these adventures including Mexico, Honduras, and Puerto Rico.
Indecisive at times, his Alaskan spirit animal fluctuates between the Giant Pacific Octopus and the microscopic dinoflagellates of the sea. Ever the adventurous spirit, Christian hopes to one day sail around the world. In the meantime, you can find him in Alaska where he is easy to identify as he owns more wool sweaters than anybody in the world...and that's saying something for Alaska. Come join Christian for a paddle!
