These sea kayaking and hiking tours are summarized below to help you find the tour that best meets your desires. All kayaking trips include sea kayaking instruction, professional guide service and an opportunity to observe wildlife and experience the scenic waters of the North Gulf Coast of Alaska.
Day trips to kenai fjords national park:
Aialik Bay
Watch Holgate Glacier calve while enjoying the serenity of the wilderness from your kayak. This custom tour includes a wildlife and glacier cruise aboard a 42' boat to Holgate Glacier, lunch and snacks, sea kayaking instruction and a guided wilderness paddle through the icebergs of Holgate Arm.

Lowell Point Kayaking adventures
-Morning Paddle- Quiet waters often make the 9 am - 12 pm paddle a great way to start the day. Families with children are encouraged to join this excursion. -ages 8 and up-
-Afternoon Delight- Afternoons tend to be a bit windier in Resurrection Bay making the 1 pm - 4 pm tour great for those wanting a bit more active paddle. -ages 12 and up-
-Sunset Paddle- The 6 pm - 9 pm tour is a great time to join us for an evening paddle in the land of the midnight sun. -ages 8 and up-

This 8 am-4 pm excursion begins with a 4 mile paddle to the trail head at the North Beach of Caines Head State Recreational Area. Our 5 mile (round-trip) hike takes us to Fort McGilvray, an subterrainean remnant of WWII, and beautiful overviews of Resurrection Bay. This moderately strenuous hike & paddle combo requires the ability to paddle 8 miles and hike 5 miles. Trip includes snacks, beverages and lunch. -ages 12 and over-

This 9 am to 5 pm family-friendly outing combines a morning paddle from Lowell Point on beautiful Resurrection Bay with an afternoon hike along the Resurrection River, near Exit Glacier. This excursion includes transportation between Lowell Point and the Resurrection River trail. -ages 8 and over, 4 person minimum-

Fox Island: Half or Full-Day Alaska Sea Kayaking
Located at the entrance to Resurrection Bay, 14 nautical miles from Seward, Fox Island is a magical mix of rain forest, sculpted cliffs, protected coves and long, pebbled beaches. Combine a half day of sea kayaking with a wildlife cruise of Resurrection Bay including whale watching, harbor seals, sea otters, birding, glacier and spectacular scenery. This Alaskan adventure will be the highlight of your vacation.
-9 am to 4:30 pm- Enjoy a short morning cruise to Fox Island is followed by kayaking instruction and a wilderness paddle of approximately 2.5 hours. Upon your return you will feast upon wild Alaskan salmon before boarding your tour boat for a Kenai Fjords Tours narrated wildlife cruise. This is a great family excursion. -ages 8 and up-

-12:00 pm to 6:30 pm- A short afternoon cruise is followed by a salmon bake lunch on Fox Island. After lunch and a short kayaking instruction session you will explore the coast line and coves of Fox island for approximately 2.5 hours. Upon your return you will board a Kenai Fjords Tour boat for your return to Seward. -ages 8 and up-

This 9 am to 6:30 pm tour includes a morning cruise to Fox Island, followed by kayaking instruction. A six hour wilderness day paddle includes a bakery lunch and snacks. A salmon bake dinner after your paddle is followed by a short cruise directly back to Seward. This is an active tour and does not require any kayaking experience but does require a reasonable level of fitness. -a more active paddle, ages 12 and up, unless booked as a private tour-

Seward Day Hikes
Join us for a hike on Seward's most beautiful trails. Experience the lush beauty of our northern temperate rainforests as we explore the lower elevations or head up through the alpine tundra to view beautiful vistas of mountains rising out of the ocean.
-Lost Lake Trail- This 9 am to 5 pm excursion, covering up to 7 miles, includes transportation to and from the Adventure Center, lunch and snacks. This moderately strenuous hike requires a reasonable level of fitness. -ages 12 and over, 4 person minimum -
