Kayaking from fox islandExperience our Fox Island wilderness retreat, one of the world's finest sea kayaking locations. Located at the entrance to Resurrection Bay, 14 nautical miles from Seward, Fox Island is a magical mix of temperate rain forest, sculpted cliffs, protected coves and long pebbled beaches. The surrounding waters have abundant marine life including sea lions, sea otters, orcas and whales. Peregrine falcons, bald eagles and puffins are often seen flying above. Sunny Cove Sea Kayaking, in conjunction with Kenai Fjord Tours, offer you several ways to experience Fox Island and the Kenai Fjords Wilderness Lodge. Fox island sea kayaking and wildlife cruise combinationOur exclusive and unique day tour allows you to experience a half-day of sea kayaking combined -9:00 am to 4:30 pm- Includes a morning wildlife cruise to Fox Island, kayaking instructions and approximately 2.5 hours of kayaking. Your afternoon begins with a Alaskan salmon bake lunch and is followed by a Kenai Fjords Tours narrated wildlife cruise. -ages 8 and older-

$139 per person (does not include tax, port fees or gratuities) Fox Island Sea Kayaking Day Trip-9:00 am to 6:30 pm - Join us as we explore the Fox Island coastline of sheer ocean cliffs and deep, forest cloaked coves. Optional routes include circumnavigating the island and experiencing the outer coast or exploring the Fox Island spit and the coves of Cape Resurrection. Your route will be chosen at your guides discretion with consideration to wind, waves and the groups abilities. Along the way we'll stop for a stretch and a picnic lunch on one of the cobblestone beaches dotting the coastline. This adventure is designed for the active traveler and while experience is not necessary, you must be in reasonably good shape. This active tour may involve up to 12 miles of paddling. -12 years or older-
