Thumb Cove Overnight Adventure

This overnight adventure is especially appropriate for families. Thumb Cove is a beautiful area which offers spectacular views coupled with protected camping and paddling. It's a great spot to introduce children to the wildness of Alaska. The cobblestone beach offers lots of play opportunities while the cove's waters are perfect for short paddles in our very stable tandem (two person) kayaks. Sunny Cove's guides are great at putting together a mix of activities to entertain both the kids and adults.

This family friendly sea kayaking adventure includes charter boat transportation to Thumb Cove, kayaking equipment and instruction, a delicious, kid friendly menu, camping, hiking and paddling opportunities. Remember, Sunny Cove does not cancel tours solely due to rain. Sea kayaking is a great experience rain or shine!

Caines Head Sea Kayaking Adventure

This trip begins at Lowell Point and overnights at Caines Head State Recreation Area. This beautiful area offers encounters with numerous species of wildlife, from sea otters and sea lions to bald eagles and sea birds. Trails at Caines Head provide spectacular views of Resurrection Bay and the Gulf of Alaska. Caines Head is a fun, active outing at a budget price. Bring along your camera and binoculars for this two day Seward sea kayaking adventure.
