Sunny Cove Sea Kayaking Guides are trained in wilderness emergency first-aid. Guides are equipped with basic first-aid equipment and a marine radio. The areas we explore are remote, and access to medical assistance can be extremely limited. Please carry double amounts of all appropriate personal medical supplies and medications you may need should the trip be extended due to unforeseen events. Please inform your guide(s) of any medical concerns you may have prior to this trips departure. Any information you provide will be held in confidence.

Gear/Equipment Information
Sunny Cove provides rubber boots, spray skirts, pogies, dry bags and personal flotation devices for each guest. We recommend our guests dress in layers for warmth. In addition, waterproof/rubber jackets and pants are highly recommended as rain or splashing may affect your comfort level.

Do not wear cotton or denim layers as these materials do not insulate once they have become wet.

Sunny Cove does not cancel trips solely due to rain or inclement weather unless conditions jeopardize the safety of our clients and staff.

Our equipment fits paddlers up to 6'4" or 250 lb or 44" waist.

Cancellation Policy
Grand Day Tours require full payment at time of booking. All trip cancellations are subject to a $50 per booking administrative fee. The remainder of the deposit is refundable up to 30 days prior to the departure date. Although we rarely cancel trips we reserve the right to cancel a trip for any reason which may make operation of the trip inadvisable. If we cancel a trip we will refund all payments made to us. This refund will be the limit of our liability. Cancellations made due to weather may be rescheduled or refunded. Trips may be delayed or altered by weather without any price adjustment or refund. Sunny Cove does not cancel tours solely on account of rain. Weather cancellations will be left to our discretion based upon field experience.
