The areas we explore are remote, and access to medical assistance is limited. Please carry all appropriate personal medical supplies and medications you may need should the trip be extended due to unforseen events.

Gear/Equipment

Sunny Cove provides rubber boots, spray skirts and personal flotation devices for each guest. We highly recommend our guests dress in layers for warmth. In addition, water-resistant or waterproof jackets and pants are recommended as rain or splashing may affect your comfort level. Please avoid wearing cotton or denim outerlayers as these materials do not insulate once they have become wet. Sunny Cove does not cancel trips solely due to rain. Our equipment fits paddlers up to 6'4" or 250Lb or 44" waist.

Cancellation Policy

Kayak/Camping Tours require full payment within 7 days of booking. All trip cancellations are subject to a $100 per person administrative fee. The remainder of the deposit is refundable up to 30 days prior to the departure date. Although we rarely cancel trips we reserve the right to cancel a trip for any reason which may make operation of the trip inadvisable. If we cancel a trip we will refund all payments made to us. This refund will be the limit of our liability. Cancellations made due to weather may be rescheduled or refunded. Trips may be delayed or altered by weather without any price adjustment or refund. Sunny Cove does not cancel tours solely on account of rain. Weather cancellations will be left to our discretion based upon field experience.
